Renewal price hikes flagged a month ahead

Insurance agency

Policies expire on all different dates and the deadline list lives in an Excel sheet or in the management software. When the insurer raises the price, the customer finds out from the renewal notice and calls another agent. Noticing earlier means having time to look for an alternative.

What you check

Similar cases

The same automation logic applied to other kinds of business:

1Brokers who follow business policies coming up for renewal
2Condominium managers, for the building's master policy
3Garages and dealerships, for customers' inspections and services coming due

Frequently asked questions

Does it compare insurers itself?

No. Quotes are made on the insurers' portals, which have no open connections, and recommending a policy is the intermediary's job. The system gives you the time to do it.

Where does it get the expiry dates from?

From an export of the agency's management software, with current premium and renewal premium. If the export isn't up to date, it flags that before doing anything else.

Does it answer customers about coverage?

No. Questions about coverage always go to the agent.

What about renewals with no increase?

The customer gets a notice with expiry date, amount and payment methods, from the text you approved once.
