On Saturday night the room is full and at table 7 a German couple wants to know what to order and whether there's gluten. The waiter stops, searches for the words, goes to ask the kitchen. Meanwhile the other tables are waiting for the bill.
What you check

Frequently asked questions
Can it make up a dish or an ingredient?
It only uses the data of the published menu: dishes, prices, notes, hours and address. The dishes it suggests must exist on the menu; any others are discarded. If a piece of information isn't there, it says so and suggests asking the staff.
And what does it say about allergies?
Nothing in words. When a customer says they must avoid something, the menu shows a fixed sentence, the dishes that don't list that allergen and a prompt to check with the staff. It never says a dish is "free from" something or "safe", and it only works if you declared the allergens yourself.
Does it say which dishes are the most popular?
Only if it really knows: from the orders of the last 30 days, if you also use ordering, or from the dishes you marked yourself. Otherwise it says so and suggests the dishes you marked as house recommendations.
How much does it cost?
It's a feature you turn on separately in the digital menu, with a number of questions per month. If the month's questions run out, the button says the feature isn't available and the menu can be browsed as always.
