Prices, SSN and insurance: it answers with your data
Medical practice or multi-specialty clinic
"How much is the visit?", "Do you take a doctor's referral?", "Do you work with my health fund?". These are the questions that come in most often, and each one interrupts the receptionist. If whoever answers is guessing, the patient shows up with the wrong idea and the argument moves to the front desk.
What you check
Prezzi solo dal listino, e solo se chiesti. Niente stime e niente forchette.
Risponde con quello che lo studio ha scritto. Se manca, dice che non lo sa e offre di farlo ricontattare.
Sulle convenzioni nessuna promessa. Conferma il fondo se è dichiarato; la copertura della singola polizza resta da verificare.

Frequently asked questions
What if it quotes the wrong price?
It only gives the prices the practice wrote in its price list, and only if the patient asks about cost. If the service isn't listed, or the price depends on conditions the profile doesn't explain, it says it doesn't know and offers to have the practice get back to the patient.
How does it handle the SSN and referrals?
It only brings them up if the patient mentions the SSN, the ticket (co-pay) or a referral, and it answers with what the practice has declared. It doesn't check the CUP (the public booking system): the practice's free slots are not public healthcare availability.
Can it check the patient's fund coverage?
No. It says whether the fund is on the list of agreements the practice declared. Whether that specific policy covers that service still needs checking, and the assistant notes it for the practice without telling the patient. It never asks for the policy number.
Who keeps the price list and agreements up to date?
The practice, in its profile: services, optional prices, public healthcare status, insurance agreements, hours and doctors. What the profile doesn't say, the assistant doesn't know.
