Customers know when their order is ready, no calls
Hardware and retail shops with special orders
"Did the part I ordered come in?" "Are my glasses ready?" "Is the necklace fixed?" In a shop these calls come in every day, usually while you're serving someone. And on the shelf there are orders that have been ready for weeks and nobody has come to pick up.
What you check
Solo messaggi sull'ordine. Nessuna pubblicità su questo canale.
Un articolo diverso dall'ordine passa dal banco.
Al massimo un promemoria per ordine. Poi decide una persona.

Frequently asked questions
Do I have to change my register software?
No. You start from a shared spreadsheet where the counter records customer orders, or from the register system if it lets you read them. Which route to take is decided by looking at how you work today.
Who marks the order as arrived?
Whoever opens the package, with one tap on the order's row from the phone or the counter computer. If nobody marks it, after 15 days the system asks you to check.
What if the supplier sends a different item?
The message to the customer doesn't go out. The order goes to the counter along with the delivery note, and you decide whether to offer the item to the customer or send it back.
How much do the messages cost?
The notices go out from templates approved by Meta and have a small per-message cost, according to WhatsApp Business rates. For each order the confirmation, the arrival notice and at most one reminder go out, and only about the order.
