On Friday and Saturday the workshop phone rings nonstop for Sunday's cakes: flavor, number of people, inscription, pickup time. Everything gets jotted on a scrap of paper at the counter, and when the inscription is missing you find out while you're decorating. And whoever then doesn't come to pick up leaves you with the cake on the counter.
What you check

Frequently asked questions
What about cakes made to a design?
They go through you: the system asks the customer for a reference photo and passes you the request, but gives no prices on these.
What about allergies?
Requests for gluten-free, lactose-free or with allergies go to the pastry chef, who answers himself. The system never says on its own whether a cake is suitable.
How is the deposit paid?
With a Satispay or Stripe link, to be activated if you don't already use them. If the deposit doesn't arrive within 24 hours the request expires after a reminder, but you can always confirm it by hand for a customer you know.
What if I already have too many cakes that day?
You set how many cakes you can handle each day: when the list is full, the system tells you before confirming.
