"I can't find the August VAT F24, can you resend it?" Requests like this arrive every day, by email and on WhatsApp. The file exists already: the time goes into hunting for it, checking it's the right version and rewriting the same reply again and again.
What you check

Frequently asked questions
Which management software does it work with?
It starts from the archive where the firm saves F24s already prepared, usually a folder on the server with the PDFs exported from the management software. If the software has an export or a connection it's used, but that has to be verified program by program: no connection is taken for granted.
What if it sends the wrong F24?
Nothing goes out without a staff member's approval. On top of that, the system stops on its own if it can't find the file or if the draft shows an amount different from the register. If it finds two versions for the same period (a replaced F24) or a document with several lines, it puts them side by side: the choice is the staff member's, and it's never final on its own.
Does it calculate or correct amounts?
No. It only resends F24s the firm has already prepared and approved. Requests like "can you prepare my F24?" or notices from the Agenzia delle Entrate (Italian Revenue Agency) go to a person.
What if the email comes from an address we don't know?
The document doesn't go out. The message goes to the staff member, who decides whether the sender is really the client. Same if the contact is a representative who follows several companies: the system prepares the question "for which company?" and gets it approved.
Who pays the F24: the client or the firm?
The system reads it from the register. If the firm has already set up the debit, it prepares no reminder; if the client pays, it prepares the reminder according to the firm's rules.
