Prescriptions sent on WhatsApp are ready when they arrive

Pharmacy

More and more patients send a photo of the prescription reminder on WhatsApp and then stop by. Someone has to open the chat, copy the code, look for the medicine and reply. If nobody does, the patient arrives and waits anyway.

What you check

La ricetta la controlli e la eroghi tu. Il sistema prepara il lavoro, la presa in carico resta nel gestionale certificato.

Nessuna valutazione sulle terapie. Interazioni e dubbi li vedi tu, con la banca dati che usi già.

Le foto si cancellano dopo il ritiro. Sono dati sanitari: si tiene solo quello che serve.

Similar cases

The same automation logic applied to other kinds of business:

1Parapharmacies, for product lists customers send as photos
2Medical supply stores, for aid prescriptions to prepare before pickup
3Pharmacies with home delivery, to prepare the bags before the round

Frequently asked questions

Does it connect to the Sistema TS (Italy's national health card system)?

No, and it doesn't need to. Taking charge of the prescription and dispensing stay in the pharmacy's certified software, with your credentials, at pickup.

Does it check interactions between medicines?

No. The therapy check is done by the pharmacist at the counter with the software's database. The system doesn't make clinical assessments.

What about prescriptions for narcotics or with a treatment plan?

They go straight to the pharmacist with the photo. You decide which categories always get handled by hand.

What happens to the photos?

They're health data: they're deleted after pickup and only what the counter list needs is kept.
