Phone bookings and changes while you see patients
Medical practice, multi-specialty clinic or dental practice
While you're seeing patients, the phone rings: someone wants an appointment, someone needs to move one, someone asks if a specific doctor has an opening. The receptionist is at the desk with a patient, or isn't in. Whoever gets no answer calls back later, or calls another practice.
What you check

Frequently asked questions
Does the patient know they're talking to an assistant?
If they ask, the assistant says yes: it's the practice's virtual assistant. Anyone who prefers a person can ask to be called back.
What if it mishears a name or a time?
Before booking it reads back a summary with name, visit, doctor, day, time and number, and waits for a yes. If the patient corrects something, it reads it back and asks again: a correction doesn't count as a yes. The system calculates the times from the calendar, so it never offers a slot when the practice is closed or already booked.
Does it recognize the patient from their number?
No. It only suggests the calling number as a contact. To move or cancel an appointment it asks for the name and looks it up, and it never mentions other patients' appointments.
Does it connect to our practice software? And does it send confirmations by text or WhatsApp?
In the demo the calendar is the product's own: connecting it to the calendar or practice software you use is done at your practice and checked program by program. Today the assistant doesn't send texts, WhatsApp messages, emails or reminders: it confirms out loud at the end of the call, and the practice sees the visit in the dashboard.
